Caps Lock on 700m keyboard is VERY sensitive

The Caps Lock key on my keyboard is very sensitive. If I just touch Caps Lock (without actually pressing it), the computer will think I pressed Caps Lock. This is very annoying.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to go about fixing it?

(i believe i'm out of warranty with dell)

I don't suppose you have gotten your keyboard wet?

you can pop off the key (very carefully) and see if the rubber is depressed/damaged or if the small disc has fallen off.. All the button consists of is a piece of rubber & a small conductive disc, that when depressed completes a circuit.

you can look on ebay for a new one. I have never had an issue with them myself.
