Greetings,

I have an hp dv9000t running vista home premium 32 bit, and i use gmail. I have installed the little gmail notifier and whenever it detects that i have a new message instead of playing a relativly soft noise like it does on my desktop system (running xp pro) it emits an extremely loud beep that sounds like its coming from a system speaker rather then any windows sound file if you know what i mean. Is there any way to either change the sound it uses when new mail arrives, or disable the auditory notification altogether?
