If you mean 1 gb of ram.... no it doesn't. It has 512 mb (2 x 256) installed. I am giving away 2 extra sticks of 256 as an added bonus to do with however the buyer of the laptop pleases. You can't put these extra sticks into the laptop because both slots are already populated.

Basically the Dell has a faster processor, more ram, higher resolution display, and better video card modual (see the system specs below in my sig) but the main reason is becuase the Dell has a DVI jack for connecting an external lcd and the AW only has the standard VGA jack.
