A65-S126 downgrade to Windows 2000?

Thread Starter
I have this system being shipped to me after winning it on eBay. After reviewing the data on Toshiba's site, it seems as though they only support it running Windows XP, though at some point in the past it might have shipped with Windows 2000.

If, for reasons of increased speed and stability, I want to downgrade it Windows 2000, where would I go for all the needed drivers? Toshiba's web site doesn't appear to have them.

Thanks...

Im not sure that would be the way to go. Win2000 support will be finished this year if not already. I would buy a copy of WinXP or see if you can get an A65 recovery disk on EBay(your WinXP product code (licence #) should be on a sticker on the bottom of the Lappy

Windows XP is certainly much faster and more stable if you have the RAM for it. Much stable for sure. Faster... that can be debated.
