After installing Vista Enterprise the process ZCfgSvc.exe runs at 47-50% cpu usage, I did not have the problem with XP professional. I guess this is an Intel wireless driver, but when I end the process nothing seems to happen to my wireless connection. Is this driver really necessary? Should I try to delete it and try to reinstall it or just delete it? Any suggestions? Thanks

your right about it being an intel wireless driver. a quick google search showed up saying that it wasn't something critical to you being able to use your wireless card, but that its more in the proset application. Try to uninstall it, and download the newest drivers off of dells website and see if that does anything for you. If not, i'm sure you would be able to find different drivers off of intels, or even other laptop manufacturers web sites or even somewhere on the web

I think that is the same .exe problem I had under XP Home. Something from the Intel Wireless was taking all my CPU power and making my games run horrible.
What I did then and now do in Vista is uninstall all the intel wireless software. Download the latest driver pack. Cancel the setup after extracted. Go to device manager, right-click on wireless card and update just the driver. Then just let windows manage your wireless connections.
