My brother got a Pavilion DV6288ea notebook. While he was trying to install XP Pro (since some video editing programs are not working in Vista Home Premium) he cleaned the entire hard disk. He deleted entire hard disk because XP didn’t find the disk and he thought that Vista was blocking it.
Unfortunately he didn’t make any recovery DVDs or backup. The only backup file he got is a Norton Ghost image file of HP_recovery partition.
Is there any hope for him?
As I understand, he needs the drivers from the C:\SWsetup folder from Vista to XP work properly. Does anyone know any link to download it from?
