just wondering, how do you know i have an agp slot?
AGP is the type of interface for the graphics card you're looking for.
Most times, online stores list the the interface type in the title. You can also look at the specifications for interface.
Newegg has a search option that allows customers to search for graphic cards by their interface.

The Radeon 9700 only comes in an AGP flavor.

bleh too many 128 bit cards being offered here

get a 256 bit card like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161070

80 bucks over the 100 dollar but well worth it, and you can still upgrade your proc/mobo/ram and still use it, unless youre already maxed out in the proc/ram depo

thats my advice
