Travelmate 8200 Battery Problem

i've had this problem for a while now, but i just haven't gotten around to looking for a fix for it til today.
whenever i plug in the battery into my laptop, during start up, it would load up properly for the first couple of minutes, then it would give me the following error msg.



i took the picture in high rez so hopefully you guys can read it. if not, here it is.

phew, that was a long type. since the problem only occurs when the battery is plugged in, i don't think it has to do with any software problems( i could be wrong thou)

i put it in as the computer is running (every loaded, logged in, etc..), i don't seem to remember if i did it before start up. but definetly not during.

p.s: i just read on another thread that catalyst 6.12 had something to do with it, would it also apply if im using omega drivers? which i might be using ati catalyst as its base.
