Vista or XP Media

I am going to purchase a new Notebook but I can get it with either XP Media or Vista. Should I Choose Vista. It is not compatible with some of my programs as of yet so I will be out there but if it is going to be the future will I be forced at a latter time to purchase it?

lol drlouis, i dunno if this person is even considering linux...

but yea go to the OS section of notebookforums


and in my personal opinion, go with xp media center edition
it will continue to be supported (by third parties and microsoft) for some time considering so many users have XP
