I have purchased this laptop over two weeks ago and so far I am very happy with it. It was on sale at OfficeMax for $699. With these specs and this kind of price you can't go wrong.

The Pros:
Decent dedicated graphics (Go7600) with decent OC ability (no word on MXM yet)
17" screen (plenty bright, no pixel problems, really crisp colors)
2xHDD slots (wih RAID support planned for BIOS update)
Single ram module installed
Subwoofer (2.1 speaker setup, loud enough to annoy)
The CPU is accessible and upgradeable (people already put TL-56 in without a problem) it is also easily OCed to 1.8 gHz and higher, but heat becomes an issue above that
No bloatware, the factory sytem install is super clean
The Cons:
Battery life (less than 2 hrs, but what do you expect from this size of a laptop with only 6 cell battery)
Weight (again, it is a 17" laptop !)
Overal build quality (feels plastiky, there are some occasional noises and vibrations, but for this price it is not enough for me to diss the machine.

The laptop is fast, runs latest games on med to high settings. With XP people are reporting over 2700 in 3dMark06. I got 2496 with Vista and 12% OC on GPU.
Standard Vista index is 4.5
Hope this helps.
DK
PS. There is a huge thread on HardForums about this machine if you want some in depth info about people's experiences
