Hey guys I just noticed these...

Get the originals (intended for Go 7950 GTX) here: http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=203882

Or from LV2G: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...howtopic=13611

Also, I'd like feedback on these as to whether or not they should be MobileForce'd. Thanks in advance .

EDIT: Upon closer inspection to the INF, the driver supports the following GPU's:

NVIDIA_G70.DEV_0098.2 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800"
NVIDIA_G71.DEV_0297.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX"
NVIDIA_G71.DEV_0298.2 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS"
NVIDIA_G71.DEV_0299.2 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX"
NVIDIA_G71.DEV_029A.2 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M"
NVIDIA_G71.DEV_029B.2 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M"
NVIDIA_G71.DEV_029D.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500M"
NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D7.2 = "NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M"
NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D7.3 = "NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M "
NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D8.2 = "NVIDIA Quadro NVS 120M"
NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D8.4 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400"
NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01DC.4 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 350M"

So if the driver is from Dell then the screen should turn off when closed. If that is correct the I vote to MobileForce them!!!!

I'd still like to see people's feedback on them BEFORE I go to MobileForce them. Simply because with the spottiness that ForceWare drivers have been lately, I don't want to release another "bad" MobileForce.

Thus the reason why there haven't been as many releases from me (along with college consuming an incredible portion of my life). There are just too many drivers released as of late that just aren't that good.

So, before I even BEGIN to touch these, I want people's feedback. So get to work guys , hehe.

I'm using the previous official Dell drivers on my i9400 (except I'm using the XPS drivers) under XP, and my LCD backlight doesn't turn off when I close the lid. So don't hold your breath that these will.

I tested these drivers before, the screen turns off when the lid is closed, but I chose not to go with them, if my memory serves me it was because it lacks the classic control pannel, and had significantly inferior performance in 3dmark05/06 to several other drivers I tried.
