Hey - do you get a BSOD or does it freeze?

Info needed :-

A lot of drivers will display this message. Download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card.

Do all the required Windows Updates (Critical)

Install DX9.0 if the game needs it

What games are you talking about? Have you applied the relevant patches to the games?

Well you get your BIOS info by going into the BIOS...hehe...Tapping on the Delete Key while booting up will generally get you into the BIOS...

Your problem sounds like it could be heat related, when was the last time you gave the insides of your PC a good cleaning...By that I mean blowing out all the dust from the insides of the PC & off all the fan's and PCI Card's and AGP Card if one is installed, especially the Video Card Fan & CPU Fan...Also it could just be a specific game related problem, have you installed the latest patch's for the games you are playing...

Also do as gsminardi suggested and get the latest Video Card Drives for your Video Card & DX 9.0 at least or DX9.b the latest DX out...

Its not heat related.. my computer temp stays below 100 F always, usually at 96

Im talking about Counter-Strike and Age of Empires, there all patched perfectly.

Ill go look for some drivers now

man...i feel sorry for you. My compy used to do the same thing...freeze right up in games and only during games. Very frustrating. I finally just got more memory, another case fan, new video card, formated to whole thing and that fixed the problem. Just some ideas, good luck though.
