i just flashed the latest bios from dell for the m1210, the a07, and notice that the load time tooks a lot longer than the previous a05 bios update, the screen where the dell logo come out and you can see the version of the bios, the previous a05 bios took 3 big bars to complete the rectangle while the new a07 bios took about 5 - 6 because of small bars to complete the whole rectangle, anybody experience this?

bios is always slower when there has been changes, if u update the bios or if u change any settings it always takes a little longer, it should only be like that the boot time right after..

It's doing a system check for hardware fault. Happens when: 1. You disable quick boot(or quick check) 2. You upgraded Bios 3. Power off when not in Windows or not booting Windows 4. You made changes in Bios as highlighted above. All these(except 1) will result in a slow Bios bootup at the first boot, but it goes off after it Edit: Added Pt 4. lol
