Hey, I just bought an HP tx1000 that came pre-installed with home premium. I decided to upgrade to ultimate. Everything is working fine, but i cannot use the finger print reader wthout VeriSoft Access Manager. I looked in my SwSetup Folder, and the VSAM folder is empty. Would anybody be willing to send this to me? Thanks

I used Access Manager for web sites with Firefox 2.0 and it worked fine. When I upgraded to Firefox 3 Verisoft does not use my accounts/passwords for the same sites. It still works on Internet Explorer though. Anyone know how to get it to work on Firefox 3?

I am afraid that this is an incompatibility issue between FF3 and Verissoft, with Verisoft playing ping-pong with laptop manufacturers to shift the develeopment time effort and cost. Frankly, a simple line of code would sove the issue.

FF3 or any new browsers, would run into the issue that you and many others have, if the app is not being updated to recognise the new version.

Many stated a work-around with "http://fingerfox.amews.dk/?page=download"; but the issue is that anyone can access to it.

My HP tx 1000 is having problems...

When i got my tx 1000 it already had Verisoft on it and it worked fine and then my computer died (twice) and now when i try to log on to Verisoft it says "Initialization of the key negotiation process failed with the following error: Key not valid for use in specified state." I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it keeps coming up with the error. Does anyone know what is going on or how to fix it? Thanks -john

I was having the same problem and downloading the Verisoft access manager did not help I still got the "Initialization of the key negotiation process failed with the following error: Key not valid for use in specified state." I found a fix that worked. There is a hidden folder called "HP" from there go to the "recovery", then "links" folders. Open the "apps" shortcut scroll to the bottom and re-install the Verisoft Access Manager Fingerprint Reader.
