I think that guy bought XPS gen 2 or M170 palmrest... once again, M1710 is a perfect fit, no mods.

i really like your external cooling system. i am thinking of doing the same thing coz im planning to make my e1705 as my media center and have it on 24/7. i want to make sure that its cool enough.

a few question though:

which way are the fans blowing? toward the vents or outwards?

do you have the internal fans on manual and running the whole time?

how long do you think the internal fans are going to last if they stay on the whole time?
