Dang! Far Cry Won't Run

OK so I know I'm pushing it since I'm running Far Cry on my ol' 8880 ATI 64 MB 7500 on WIN2K, but the strange thing is after I install (done it 3X) and run it, nothin happens.

Not even an error screen comes up.

If I run the Task Mgr I see FarCry.exe show up in the processes tab for like a second and then it just disapears.

I am running those Omega drivers (ver.2.4.96) mabey thats the prob.

Every other game runs fine, a little slow at times but come on it's a 7500.

Mabey I'm unconciously screwing something up so I'll be forced to upgrade to the 8890.

Anyways, anybody else had this prob?

If I remember right the game minimum requirements are a 64MB video card with DirectX 9.0b support. It lists the ATI 8500/9000 as minimum and the ATI 9500 and up as recommended. If you get the 7500 to play it, I doubt it will play very smooth.
