last week while i was playing counter strike source on my dell xps m170 with a nvidia geforce go 6800 ultra card, my laptop restarted itself, after restarting it self the screen would have "noise" in it. it booted up to a black screen, after that it skips the windows logo thing, right to the admin password. i logged in fine, no noise no nothing, couple of seconds later it shuts down with the blue screen of death appearing deformed and with ALOT of noise in it. the only way i can get into windows without it restarting it self, is to go into safe mode. but that is, with the noise. the blue screen also said hardware malfunctioning. i am guesing i fried my geforce card. warranty expired 2 months ago. just ordered a dell xps 400 couple days ago. anybody have this problem before? any ideas? thanks
