OK here's the deal. since yesterday I've gotten a error that windows was missing files etc..I don't have time to mess with installing winxp again..as I'm working a lot of hours right now...so between sleep kids..life in general..I don't want to mess with it...so I'm really looking to sell..I bought it from my best friend last year..so only 2 owners..and its in perfect cond...no dead pix..I've babied it...

specs.

amd fx 60.2.6 gig
2 gigs ram
2x100 gig serial 7200 hds
nvidia 7800 gxt or what ever that is called the top one before the new ones came out
bluetooth
17 wuxga glossy
dvd_dl rw
tvtuner
its loaded..basicly
comes with bag.power brick and laptop as everything else u can get from the website.

I'm looking for 1.200 shipped..which is damn cheap bur I'm looking to buy a smaller laptop 12 inches or smaller

lokking for trades also..nice loaded 700m or the new xps 12 inch...or 15.4 widescreens..

I have heat under frontsideinc

Well, looks like I may have gotten got scammed.

Frontsideinc=Jeremy Oliver

This guy has screwed over many many people over the years before me and now I've gotten massively ($1200) screwed. I just love how its college finals time so I have THIS to deal with at the same time.

I traded Jeremy my Everex XT5000T + 400$ Check for this "Sager 9750" Which he sent me pics of. The entire time he was polite, quick to respond and generally sounded VERY trustworthy.

You know what? That's what everyone else who has dealt with him has said too.

On Monday I will have to contact my brank's check fraud division and the Kaufman Texas Local PD( Which I can only assume MANY others have done) in hopes of getting my money and laptop back. I know they won't be of any use however.

It's conveneint I'm only a state away...

Jeremy Oliver I'm calling you out.

The kicker is that I traded him the computer I need for work in exchange for what should have been an upgrade.

WTF am I supposed to do now.

*Update* Jeremy has recently contacted me stating he will make good on his word. I responded in kind... and the waiting begins...

Keep the leverage on him. If he flakes out make sure you get his local PD on him. make sure they know this is not the first time this has happened. Was the check made out to his name? I nearly bought this as well, something tipped me off in his PM's Just kind of odd that he really didn't care about this high value system.

This is also very unfair to those of use who are selling 9750's for REAL prices. How the hell are we supposed to compete with a scammer that's selling for hundreds less than us honest sellers?

Mr.sneis, I REALLY hope you're able to get this sorted out. Maybe sellers should have over 500 posts. I dunno, but I hate reading sales that turn out this way.

Yeah, I would go guns blazing. If you guys set a specific date, and he falls off the grid, do anything and everything you can starting right then...because they will just ask for time..and more time..and then an excuse..then ask for more time..



I am lucky that the time I got scammed I payed with a credit card, I was able to do a chargeback, thank goodness...

I wanna say that I believe he has given people the run around before with "i'll get you a tracking number soon" I don't think in his previous scams that he has EVER come through on those.

Contact an Admin on these forums this guy should be adios'd by now and notebookforums should be able to provide you with an IP address for legal purposes. Its time this guy got some punishment for all the people he has scammed on here because he is obviously not learning his lesson.
