could I install xp pro' on it, will it work?
someone mentioned that some feature will only support through VISTA, is that true?
how do I make recovery cd?
thanks for any info., I'm just not too comfartable with VISTA

Recovery DVD,
You should have a folder called Sony Tools. You can find the program there.
On my computer there was a shortcut on the Desktop. I would make 2 copies
Of Recovery discs just to be safe.
I would then reinstall Vista, But remove the Backup Partition. It takes up about
5 gigs of hard drive. When you boot with the Recovery Disks it will ask you if
You want to remove the backup files.

Sony doesn’t offer Xp pro drivers for your laptop.
You might be able to run Windows Media Center,
WMC is basically Windows XP Pro but with some new
Drivers for Power Management. I have 2 Sony laptops , One
Came with Vista Pre and didn’t offer Windows XP Pro.
I’m running Media Center now but I have Problems with the
Power management, My battery life is cut in half. Unfortunately
Many of my programs don’t run on Vista. Such as CAD software.
Also take into consideration that few laptops support 64bit Vista.
The cheapest laptop with a 64bit processor was made by Voodoo.
I’m going to have to pay over $4000.00 just to run Turbo cad 64.
I would first look what types of programs you’re going to run.
If you’re going to use your laptop for everyday use then just leave Vista on it.
The three good things about your laptop is
2gb ddr2 memory, 667Mhz front side bus, and the 5lb weight.
The voodoo laptop is about 18lbs. not all that portable.

I tryed to find some reviews on it, but no lack. It would be used mostly for general purpose and sort of replacing my desctop.

Hai I am glad there's something about a Sony C series notebook. How's the Core 2 Duo Processor (T5500) work for software applications like .NET and Adobe. All I want is a powerful notebooks with the smallest screen size.

I ended up my quest on VGN-C220E/H but did not get any reviews on this particular one. Please help me.
