CR Election: IBM

Hey guys you probably don't know me because my life is over at Dell, but I'd like to get to know some of you better.

I've also come to see if you guys have any suggestions for a community rep, that represents IBM.

Our job is to reach out to members and to understand the needs of each section of this wonderful website! Of course, the current reps aren't capable of helping you with your individual needs because we really don't know you guys well enough. So I come asking you guys to vote someone up to be a community rep .

By the way a little about myself, since I do intend on talking to some new people, I am 15 years old and I live in NY. My real name is Charlie. I own the system in my sig and I help out over in Dell . I love computers a ton and I'm always working with them. So, if any of you do have a suggestion for a rep, post the name and say a little about yourself! Heck, even if you don't have a suggestion please do introduce yourself.

....what does it take?

I'm probably one of the biggest IBM/Lenovo proponents on here...but don't know that I'd be best for the job. I know there are far more active people on here with links to Thinkpads.com than I.

Good question

A CR's job is basically to be a link between the mods and admins, and the community as a whole. We are not here to be Mod Juniors in any way, however basically we discuss privately new concepts on the forums that will be good for the whole community we represent. For example, I am not a CR because I am linked personally to Dell a whole lot, but I am a CR because I try my best to be friendly to new members, become friends with members and I know how to help people with any problems. We also solve conflicts without the use of administrative powers such as PM'ing an individual that posted something inappropriate for example so that he can edit it himself instead of having a mod take action.

So, if you do feel you fit the requirements, fantastic! I won't guarantee being a CR yet of course, but i'll check it out.
