Intel® Core™ DUO T2350 vs. Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5200

Probly get this question a lot here but i am in a hurry so I don't have time to hunt for the answer. I am having trouble to see why

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5200 (1.6GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB)

is more expensive than

Intel® Core™ DUO T2350 (1.86GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB).

Is the core 2 Duo chip somehow faster than the core Duo chip? because on paper it looks like the core chip is better. Surely there must be some sort of difference they aren't telling me. Any advice on which to get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For 32 bit applications - nothing.
If you, for some reason, wanted to run a 64 bit OS - then the core 2 Duo is your CPU (the core duo won't run 64 bits).

For use of 32-bit applications, the T2350 will be the better choice. Only if you want to run 64-bit will you need Core 2 Duo and considering the computer industry is still almost entirely 32-bit, the Core Duo would be the better choise for the average user.
