Okay, i have a acer aspire 3620

- 1024 MB RAM
- 107 GB Harddisc
- 14,1 Wide TFT
- 1.73 CPU

I am not a very experienced user ... yet,. but anyway when i play games like "FIFA 07" "Generals" etc.- every 1 minute i think then the computer begins to do everything in slowmotion and it gets slower and slower, until i suddently speeds up and run normal, but after 3 min, the same thing happens again...

So Do Somebody Know What My Problem Is?

- I have also used a prog that only starts the game and all the NESSESARY Procceses ...
But it's the same thing that happens no matter what....

Help

I don't know what the problem is, but somebody else was saying that their machine was having the same problem, but only with EA games??? It's interesting that you seem to have the same problem...

I'm trying to find the specs, I only see one from Acer Thailand.. if its those specs.. The Celeron chip is crap. The Intel video card is crap. You're stuck with a cheap system that's not good for games.

Hmm- it's kindda strange. becouse even when i play Worms World Party that don't need a very good pc to run. the same stuff happens

Like Evaders99 has said, if your using an integrated video card with shared memory its performance will fall far short of a proper gaming card. I also couldn't find the specs for your machine so I can't really comment any further.

http://www.acer.co.th/product/travel...620_/index.htm Hmm... But the first month everything worked fine without this slow thing.. but can it be a problem with the cooling?

Yes, so we come back to the original question that I asked the other person which was 'are there any background programmes running that could affect it's performance?'. You didn't install anything after the first month that may account for the difference?

Worms World Party is a game from 2001. That's all I can find out about it.

Likely it doesn't have heavy video card requirements. FIFA 07 and C&C:Generals (if that's what you are talking about) are relevatively recent games and have much higher requirements.

FIFA 07

C&C Generals http://www.cncgeneralsworld.com/gene...uirements.aspx

If you believe its recent problem with some games, then please check your system for viruses, spyware, etc. Keep up to date with your software. If necessary, just do a format/reinstall. But don't expect it to play the latest games like FIFA 07 or C&C:Generals

Are there up-to-date video drivers for the Intel chip? I don't really know if that would fix anything, perhaps some patches to the game itself
