Thats what im doing, im a long time Dell fan. Ive custom built my 9300 then my M170 then my 9400 and finally my M1710. I need something smaller so i was going to custom build a 6400 from parts on ebay. But the fastest you can get is an X1400... w/ 128 dedicated and 128 shared blegh.

For $1k i just bought an ASUS A8J 13.3 inch Widescreen w/ .3mp camera and a Geforce go 7700 w/ 512 dedicated ram! the system is a more solid design as Asus is known for. i hate to say it... but they got Dell beat their just not as well known. Seriously look into the ASUS options for notebooks.

erg...They don't make a 13.3" AJ8

it seems to me that Asus is more known in europe than in the states. After all, its the best motherboard producer IMHO.

Anyway, I believe dell is a bit overpriced anyhow...
