I can't seem to get DVD writer to write.
It reads DVDs data as well as movies however no luck getting it to recognize the media when a blank DVD is inserted.
The CD side functions perfectly (Read/Burn)
I have Alcohol 120% installed as well as CDburnerXP pro3.
The applications indicate "can not read medium incompatible Media"
I have tried DVD+RW as well as DVD+R, is there a different format I need to try.
The specs indicate that it is capable of writing to DVD.
Device mgr. reads: HL-D-TST RW DVD GCC-4244N ?
Another question: I have 512mb RAM would I notice any gains with a 1 or 2Gb upgrade ? Or would this be like putting perfume on a pig ?
