what are the other labels for the clevo D870P ?

I am shopping for parts for my Clevo D870P and know that it was labeled under other names. In my search for a 2nd HDD cable and a replacement motherboard I would like too know what other model#'s and such were used too identify this OEM's product? Also, has anybody tried to have one of these motherboards repaired ? Mine has a video problem that appears as video noise (aliasing ?) that can be affected to change by pressure on the motherboard, so I expect it is component solder connections. ??

Have you tried emailing Sager, Prostar or any of the resellers? They might have parts that they're willing to sell. I would imagine they wouldn't mind clearing the shelves of unused parts that have low demand.

I would be willing too try, but again I would like to know what the other resellers are and what models #'s used the same hardware ?

I own a Hypersonic-pc laptop(GX7) and I to had a video problem. Found out the video card was built in and I had to replace the motherboard! WOW, expensive repair. They replaced the MB and I never knew what the MB was or the specs. Anyway, I used CPU-Z program and it stated I had a CLEVO D870P. Man, if I do have this MB, I would not recommend this MB! It's a loud MB, fans running high and gets even louder once the dust collect and fans needs to work harder to cool. SO Tia Scott, Try PRoStar or Hypersonic-PC because when I got this model, both places sold me the same case and features.

All resellers will know what you are referring to when you tell them you need parts for a d870p. Each model is just a rebrand of the same exact thing...Also, parts Clevo uses for each of their builds is proprietary, so you probably only want to look for d870p parts to be safe.
