After killing my hard drive with some very heavy bit torrent downloading, I contacted Acer to repair.
Since I live in GTA, I dropped it by myself on April 24rd, and was told wait for the pick-up call in 5 to 7 days. Yesterday(April 30th) I got the call and picked my 8204.
A surprise: They not only replaced my hard drive, but also the CPU thermal module. They updated the cpr and bios as well.
Remember the "famous" heat problem of 8204, it's all gone! The laptop is amazingly cool now, even during games!!!
The module number of thermal module is 60.TAXV7.007, in case anyone is interested.
