Hey Everyone, I recently redid the thermal compounds on my 9300 w/ 7800gtx with some Artic Silver 5 I got. I also filled up the hairline gaps between the aluminum heatsink and the copper heatrods. Not to mention blow out a year's worth of thick lint and crap (thick like the lint trap in a dryer). My video card used to go up to 103 degrees celsius and now it doesn't stray above 70 degress celsius? and my processor doesn't go above 40. How does that work? Could I have not screwed the heatsink all the way down? Has anyone else seen this kind of drop in heat? I got a 7277 on 3dmark05, which seemed pretty high for me. Anyway let me know!
