Toshiba A205-S4607 need help all drivers

Thread Starter
I've just Reinstalled windows XP Professional SP2 on my Toshiba Satelite A205-S4607.
Now I need all the drivers, but I could not find out any driver on the Toshiba website.
Anybody can help me now, please ?

Go HERE select portables -> Satellite -> your model number and hit Go. Then go into the downloads area and I see quite a few of the drivers & Tosh utilities in there.

I'm trying to do the same thing - no luck finding drivers yet. You had any success?

I installed XP SP2 on mine, the only drivers I had to get were the intel wireless drivers from intel's website, and realtek audio drivers from realtek's site. You can also use the update intel drivers for the chipset.

No help from Toshiba.

According to Toshiba this morning, It just dawned on them that they have never accumulated any XP drivers for the A200/205 series since it was never offered with anything other than Vista. They say we are on our own. I have 9 of these that I'm about to ship back to them since they promised me that I could downgrade to XP pro.

I think that's silly to send them back, what devices are you having a problem finding drivers for? I'm running Vista and XP SP2 on mine with no problems. Sound, video, networking, everything works great. Device manager has all devices configured with no !'s.

I think it's silly as well but I can't get the ethernet to work or the wireless. Intel 4965A will install but can't connect. The ethernet is a Marvel Yukon I believe. It won't even show up in the device manager. The Toshiba model is an A205-s4617 plus I have 8 A200-st2041. I'm doing all the digging on another PC and then transfering drivers with a USB stick. What a pain.

http://www.station-drivers.com/page/marvell.htm Hi guys try this link for Marvell Yukon Driver. v10.15.5.3 is the one that worked. Intel for the WifI, v11.1.1.0_xp_drivers is the one that works. Realtek driver is OK too for video... Hope this helps you guys it has taken me 2 days and I am dissapointed with Toshiba as their helpine answered me once and then 3 times I was mysteriously cut of when I gave my reference number??? WHO cares we can do it without them!?!?!?!?! Cheers Jez Mumford

I just installed XP SP2 ( build 2600 ) with latest updates, only 2 items did not install, a mass storage controller ( for the built in 5 in 1 reader i suspect.. ) and the internal modem on high definition bus... those are the only 2 i need to get my A205 - S44639 fully functioning under XP since i did a reformat on install to wipe Vista Ultimate off. Any body know what 5 in 1 is used ( is it tied to intel chipset since i did download and ran the driver utility ) and the modem? ****update... found the modem driver.. and mass storage driver http://rapidshare.com/files/38942319...a205-s4577.rar for mass storage it's the Texas Instruments driver for Modem it's the Toshiba softmodem now to get the webcam working properly buru cam does get it working, then it quits to black screen

you can always try the toshiba support site in australia, type in "toshiba.com.au" in google and it'll give you a link down to their support site, they model numbers are a little different, but the a200 and a210 seem to be the ones that work for most people i know for my a205-s5000 the a200 worked for me just fine with xp pro sp3
