I would like to sell my Sager 9890. This is really a great laptop and mine is in very good condition. For specific details on this model, please visit www.sagernotebooks.com
Here are my specific specs.
1920x1200 glossy 17" widescreen
NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX 256 MB DDR3
2x100 GB SATA HDD (200 GB total!) (RAID at your request...this is the way I have it set up)
8x DVD +-R/RW/4x+DL/ 24x10x24 CD-RW Super-Multi Drive and Software (2 optical drives total)
3.4 Ghz Pentium 4 Hyperthreading
3 GB (seriously!) of DDR2 PC4200 SDRAM
internal bluetooth and 802.11g wireless
There is room for 4 GB in this machine and also a TV tuner. Like I said, check the website above for standard specs like number of USB ports etc. I know that most of you interested in this laptop probably have had a high performance desktop replacement in the past, so you know what I mean.
This will also include the case, charger and cord, and an extra 12 cell li-ion battery (2 total).
It will come with a clean install of XP Pro SP2 and will also come with all original software and CDs (including the XP software).
I bought this laptop a year and a half ago because I needed a powerhouse to run architecture software for school. Well I am graduating and it is time to see her goodbye. It works flawlessly...there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It was actually a 9880 when I bought it, but I have the mobo and graphics card upgraded which pretty much makes it a 9890. (the mobo is only 8 months old and the graphics card was upgraded this last January...5 months old)
'
I spent 3000 on the laptop then with only a single 100 GB hard drive, 6800 ultra video card, and only 1 GB of RAM. I have put around 1000 dollars in it between the mobo, extra 2 GB memory, 100 GB hard drive and the new video card. This same laptop is being sold online for 2800-3000 dollars, depending on who you buy from.
I am trying to sell for $1700, but will take best offer. So if you are looking to buy, save yourself some money and buy from me. There is a little wear and tear on the areas where your arms rest and where the laptop closes (black finish rubbing down). Other than that, everything is great. If you have any software requests with the package, I may be able to help. I am willing to work with you.
Checks and money orders accepted. I will deposit the money and make sure it goes through and then ship the laptop (we can work out payment details). I will take care of the shipping but only within the continiguous United States. If you have specfic shipping requests outside of standard methods of packing a laptop, please make this known. If you require overnight shipping or anything above standard, I will ask that you pay the difference in price compared to standard shipping. If you have a special circustance please let me know.
Please reply to thread, email me at josh.made4worship@gmail.com, or call me at 903-436-2155. Leave a message with your number and I will get back to you if I don't answer. If you want pics, please let me know. The laptop looks the same as on sagers website, but I will be happy to take pics of the minute wear in the finish if you are worried about that.
