Thread Starter
Hey everyone,

With Santa Rosa right aorund the corner, I have a question reguarding the processors that will be released with this new platform. I know the FSB is going to be increased to 800 Mhz but what about the clock speedS? What kinds of speeds can we expect with the initial release? Thanks!

I don't know about Dell but a few OEMs, including ASUS, will be releasing notebooks with processors up to the T7700 which is stock clocked at 2.4GHz.

Up to date, the T7700 is the highest Centrino Pro.

That makes no sense. There is not such thing as a centrino processor. Centrino is a technology which incorporates three technologies onto a single platform. i.e. A laptop with an intel chipset, intel processor, and intel wireless card.
