Router Questions

Hey everyone,
This summer I'm moving into an apartment and probably going to be connected to Roadrunner. Just wanted to know what type of routers everyone else is using. I never had to setup a network myself, so I'm trying to see what is available and what works the best.
There will be atmost 4 computers ( 2 desktops and 2 laptops) and then ps3 and xbox 360 hooking onto the network. Would it pay to get a gaming router? What would be the advantages? My laptops wireless card can connect to AB and G wireless and I believe my girlfriends can only connect to G. Everything else would be wired directly to the router.

I run a Linksys WRT54G. I love it. I am currently running a modded firmware on it that gives me some additional functionality. It would more than handle your newworking needs.

Of course this question really belongs in the General forums

I've been very happy with my D-Link DGL-4300, it's got great traffic prioritization rules and packet splitting tricks to keep latency down. I've had some really crappy D-link gear before, but the quality of this is much better.
