It wont let my install win2k, when i go to install it, freshinstall, it cant find the HD, win 2003 can find the HD, but when i try to format it, it gets to 100 then says cant finish. XP worked fine, even when i tried to reformat with the win2k cd it didnt work, and XP was still on the system working fine, so i made an bootdisk, and used fdisk, and took off all the partitions. i cant get win2k on. hmm i must have past something obvious, i have a 8890, 03 score heh http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2267537

what it actually says...

Win 2000 Professional Setup
======================

Setup did not find any hard disk drivers installed in your computer.

Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected yo your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuration is correct, This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup program.

Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3.

When you boot from the CD go into the repair section and use the recovery console.

run partdisk and see if the disk shows up there.

If so partition the drive then exit.

then run format.

format the disk in ntfs or fat32

then restart.

Now go and install win2k on that that new partition.

Make sure not to REformat the partition, it will ask if you want it to or not.

Should be ok after that.
