yes it's another one of these threads. i'm new to this forum and I am active in others and i know people hate these kinds of posts, but there are just so many laptops out there.
i've done some research for a laptop for college next year. i'm looking to spend anything around $800-$1250 (a bit below/above is not a problem). I do not game much, only when i'm painfully bored, i will play counter-strike (yes lame, but i don't feel like buying games at the moment). I do webdesign/programming a lot since that's my part-time business. Here are my needs:
- Intel Core 2 Duo
- Some kind of graphics card
- Portability (14" or less, 5.5lbs or less)
- Some out-video (s-video, etc)
- Run applications such as Photoshop CS2, iTunes, Dreamweaver
- Windows (I dislike OSX since I run some window-only programs)
I need this to last at least 4-5 years... I here Lenovo/IBM has awesome build quality. Dell isn't all that great.
Help a noob out, i know all the vets dislike us...
