Dell...wait?

Hi!

Im planning to buy the inspiron9400
Now, when does Santa Rosa come into dells?
And if that happens, will they stilll make with normal c2d processors which get much cheaper?

So, should I wait, or, get the double memory upgrade + 100 euro's discount?

Santa Rosa is now Live. Expect OEMs and ODMs to announce their variants in the coming hours.

Santa Rosa is available in the Latitude line, albeit without ANY option for dedicated graphics. Expect a little while longer before it shows up in the Inspiron line.

Summer at the earliest and it seems many are dead set on using the slower 8600 videocards so Id recommend looking at the i9400 or e1705 with a 7900GS videocard as this will be way better than any Santa Rosa notebook currently out now.

I ordered my Dell i9400 and it is being delivered tomorrow

2.0ghz C2D
2048 ram 553
100 Gb HD 7,200
Nvidea 7900go card

can't wait, How much % progress will it be with my current pc

1.4ghz
256 mb ram
gforce 2mx/mx400 (card)
