Check one memory module at one time,in both slots.
I want to say to put only one module of 2GB in first slot if is OK then swap module in second slot..
If you get 2GB available in both cases then this memory module is OK and both slots are working.
Remove this RAM module and test with other one if result are 2GB available then both modules are OK and you may have 3.25GB available.
Your problem could be: one dead RAM module,one dead slot or both.
That you can observe by doint this test.
I suppose that both RAM modules are at 667Mhz (or both at same frequency)
