clevo 570u raid setup questions

I had taken last night to extensively search for information on the problem I have and the closest thing I found was in reference to a HP laptop having similar problems. I am trying to setup raid with XP pro. I will also need tips for vista because the next nightmare I face will be duel booting vista and XP pro.

Here is what happens. I start the install I hit F6. The F6 screen comes up I hit S and select the drivers I hear the floppy kickin and assume the drivers have been loaded. Everything else isn't a problem until it gets to the end of the format and tries to copy files. At this point it ask for the floppy with the drivers again except the floppy is dead and won't load the drivers.

Anyone with information on how to correct this issue would be very helpful. I have goten one option from sager support which is to get a particular type of USB floppy. Other than that I don't have any other information. I might be able to slipstream a install together but that just makes my head hurt thinking about it.

Thanks

This program helped solve my problem www.nliteos.com. I didn't actually have to buy a second USB floppy to make it work.

Hey scooby; I was cruzin through and Sager caught my eye! Did you actually geat a hardware raid going on your sager? I have a d87p I beleive! and ran into the same driver deal. never got raided up and its just sitting at moment out of disgust. I tried the Nlite and was pretty proud of myself for thinking of it! So,did you? Rik

Use Nlite to add the raid drivers to your xp disk. It worked like a champ on my 9860. I also put in my product key and set it up for a unattended installation with Nlite. Now all I have to do on my reformats is put in one disk, leave and when I come back I have a full updated XP waiting for me.
