Hi,

Which one of these notebooks is a better choice for gaming? I can't find any information on the GMA x3100 on the new HP. Thanks in advance

Hi,

That card isnt availabe on the current configuration.

Regarding your grammatically challenged attempt at a response, you might want to consider spending some more time learning the local language.

A worthless response. I guess all the helpful folks are at the Alienware & Dell boards, and the vague information is here...

Look I'm not trying to be a jerk but nobody is responding to this thread with anything to say about the original question. I'm guessing the next post will have something to do with my character instead of the computer(s) at hand.

Regardless it doesnt matter, thanks for your help, I went ahead and ordered the DV9000T. I'm unsubscribing to this thread, no need to answer.

The 9500t has had its guts reorganized to better the airflow situation. Airflow in the 9000t wasn't the best, it is merely an improvement. To cope for this, I believe the 9500t's have taken out the dual hard drive option. Don't quote me on that though.

The 9500t would be my choice, except for I don't like 17" laptops. I would go with the 6000, thats what i have, it works flawlessly.

wait for the 8600 go card to come out for the dv9500t, right now the 7600go in the dv9000t in terms of gaming is much better than the x3100. In my research I've found that the x3100 is at best about as powerful as the radeon x1300. This may change when nvidia releases drivers to fully utilize the x3100 but if you must have a laptop now the dv9000t would be better for gaming.

both are great laptops

I would still go with the 9500t though.
