Yup. I'm soooo tempted to get a spare, small and light laptop of the D400\\410\\420 variety for extra portability around the house or my infrequent travels. It would be nice to be able to drop it right in the D\\Dock for backups etc. The only thing holding me back are the perpetual upgrades to the M1710 (a NICE problem to have!) such as the 160GB 7.2k HDD and dual-boot XP\\Vista Ulti, like you, (I'm thinkin' 64-bit so I can then get...) 4GB RAM, and maybe, someday, a T7600G CPU for just a little extra horsepower.
