Phases jump quite a bit. In my experience, which is only two orders, what you are experiencing is normal. Some people get lucky, others get the standard, while others get really screwed. I got screwed the first time, and got the standard wait the second time.
What system did you order? What kind of customization? Did you change parts after placing the order? How are you paying?(Financing through Alienware can take a while sometimes.) Payment processing likely went nowhere over the weekend, especially if you financed with AW. I think they build on Saturday's, but billing is probably closed all weekend.
The wait is difficult, especially if you don't have another decent rig to work on. You'll get frustrated, irritated, mad, enraged, and enfuriated before it is all over, probably. But, it really does all melt away once the big black box arrives. You pull it out and it's all shiny and new and smells of electronics and plastic. Your best bet to surviving the phase game is to not play the phase game. Find something else to do, check your email, but don't check the phases, at least not every day, and certainly not every hour/minute/second.
