Few Questions

Hello,

I have a dell latitude d510, few questions

specs are
1.73 ghz pentium M
1gb ram "2 512 sticks"


I'm wanting to go to the full 2gb it can hold, will these sticks work? "they are for the inspiron."

Also on the screen in the middle toward the top, I can't tell if there dead pixels or what, looks like a kindof smudge thing, really annoying, anyone heard of this? any fixes? its like a small part of the screen turned dark but still works fine.

I'm running vista ultimate, and when I close the laptop it goes into standby/hibernate, one of the two, when I open up the laptop, the screen will not turn back on no matter which button I push.. with xp it worked fine.

Last question, will this thing hook up to a widescreen dell 20 inch monitor? not sure if it's powerful enough or not, I'd probably need a docking station, but the graphics card is the integrated intel 915 chip.

Never heard of the smudge thing before could be fade not really sur emaybe you can take a pic of it so we can see what your talking about.
That Ram will work fine.
That issue could be driver related or BIOS related. On some of the notebooks a BIOS update was issued to fix that very issue which is only present in Vista so give that a shot. Lastly you can connect to the 20 Inch screen just dont expect full res support on the Intel Extreme card.
