Dell XPS backpack

All the xps trimmings & extras

Cosmetically this laptop is in excellent condition, I take very good care of my laptops. The cover has a very very very tiny ding that you can only see if you look for it closely. The palm rest has some slight discoloration, but I will also include a brand new xps m170 palmrest that I was intending to replace it with. I will upload pictures later.

I just graduated college so theres no need for me to have a laptop anymore, I'm thinking about going back to a desktop

-How much warranty left?

Unfortunately theres no warranty left

-Do you ship to Slovenia(Europe)?

I'd prefer to keep it within the states as I don't know what precautions I should take shipping out of states

-Do you accept bank transfer?

It is really nice laptop, but since there is no warranty left, it takes his price down a lot.

I am from Slovenia, and warranty means to me a lot you know.. I cannot wake up next morning with broken GPU for example, and imediatelly need to pay $500 for new 7950gtx

I'm taking offers as well.
Keep in mind I monitor my laptops closely temps and everything I feel that most people's laptops crap out because the temps go too high and especially with dell's crappy bios the fans always kick in when temps are really high, with some simple undervolting and fan control program allows you to keep your system cool and making sure your components dont die on you. My geforce 7950 gtx go has never been overclocked and idles at 58 degrees C. With most games even at full load it wont exceed 75 degrees C.

Since it's M1710, it can't be that old (more than a year?)

It IS also possible to add warranty. You have to call Dell to get them to do it, but I'm not sure how much extra it is than extending.

no. after warranty expires, you cannot add warranty,... you can add warranty when warranty is still active.

And why do people post when they have no real experience or evidence to back up what they say?

Dell has a special department that handles warranties AFTER your original warranty has expired. I almost did this with an old laptop of mine (when they transferred me and gave a quote, and it was not worth the price).

Pics of palmrest and service tag to kevineugenius@comcast.net please. Would you be willing to make an ebay auction to run it through? My customer may want a warranty, and squaretrade/ebay is probably the cheapest way to get it. I'd overpay you 5%, should cover ebay fees and hassle. LMK.

Does this laptop have Mediadirect on it and setup working properly? If so, is it version two or three?? Just curious, not like it matters in my decision. Still waiting for my tax return though.

Hmm i formatted the comp as soon as I got it and never bothered to use the Media Direct Button. When I return this computer back to factory I can look into setting it up again.
