New RAM for M9750 - Page 2

im not getting RAM at cas of 2 mine from newegg will be cas of 5.

Pretty sure latency of 2 is non existant

What I need the answer to is, What would be better. 2 Gigs of latency 4 or 4 gigs of lac 5. While I know only 3.3gigsish can be used I still think that the 4 gigs would be better overall. Anybody else have an opinion?

To complicate matters further, there is also a link to an article somewhere on these forums, the basic summary of which is that CL4 533 RAM has performed better than CL5 667 RAM. Sorry tried to find the link, but I'm late for work.

Still even with that info, I'd personally go for 4 GB of 667 CL5 RAM, just on the idea of why not have the extra.
