M6800 memory question

Hi,
Can anybody tell me if they have tried Samsung PC3200 memory in the 68xx series laptops?
I have a 1gb stick, the numbers from the Samgsug sticker says: K4H1G0838A-TCCC on Samsungs website it says it is true PC3200 DDR Not DDR2 So I am thinking it might be a voltage problem. Can anyone verify this? The machine just beep onstart up. I am not new to memory in a long shot, just PC3200 in this particular machine. Thanks,

take a look and browse the sticky thread regarding memory. it could be voltage, as u might suspect. incompatibility could also be a pain. pc3200 on m68xx is a delicate thing
