keyboard problems

I am assuming that this is an easy fix...for some reason I noticed that the brightness and the volume keys on my G4 powerbook aren't functioning. Did I accidently dissable them?

Are any of the other function keys working right?

If you hit the FN key and hit one of the function keys do they work right?

Go into System Preferences>Keyboard and Mouse>Keyboard and see if there's a check in Use the F1-F12 keys to control software features. If there is remove it.

shut down

take the battery out

hold down the power and apple and shift keys (kakaze is this the right key combo) for ten secconds

reboot
