9860 Vista Firewire

I just installed Vista because of its tablet driver support and can not get the IEE 1394a ports to work. Spent two days searching forums and net for a fix . It's not a deal breaker, I just use a USB to IEE transfer cable and would like not to have to buy a new USB to USb if I don't have to. Thank You

What is the tablet you're trying to use ? I have no problem and have not heard of anyone with a 9860 having problems with firewire.
