FN + F5 +F6 LCd brightness to work on XP

Hello again,

I got everything to work on my FE855e/FE880 after uninstalling vista to XP pro. However, I cannot get the FN + F5+f6 screen dim/adjustment to work... I know I probably need the Notebook Utilitiy drivers but the only ones I can find for this model is for vista. Or the other ones I try don't appear to work.. Can any please help me so I can end this driver searching madness lol thanks!

I got everything work on this laptop with Windows XP

here is the instructions to get the brightness FN buttons to work for this model... (may work for others also)

I got the brightness to work! go to: ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/pub/Vaio/Original/ - Select the FE3_utilites and install this:

Utils Installer 1 SonyUtilsDLL
Utils Installer 2 Sony Shared Library
Utils Installer Vaio Event Service

Observe the Brightness FN + F5 +F6 now work along with the volume contgrol short cut keys
