Sager 8790 Replacement Motherboard?

ok, i need a new motherboard for my sager 8790, i cant seem to find one, dose anybody know if anybody still sells them?

i think mine fried out the northbridge, was gaming on it and i guess it cooked, it still powers up(but will not post) (as i expect it would) the werid thing is it beeps about every 15sec, i would think if the bridge was burned it would power up with no beep errors?

i have tried different ram, a different cpu, i also cleared the cmos

anybody have the same issue or know where to buy a replacement motherboard?

Contact Sager directly. If you were gaming, then it most likely overheated and died the usual death. Not unknown for these. You're looking @ ~$400. Might be time for a new machine.

thanks for your reply FriedToast, beleave it or not i was able to get one off of ebay that works, a guy parting one out. (theres good timing lol)

it wasnt cheap but it is compaired to what sager would have charged it was a bargin. (if they even still had it)

it came out to $220 shipped. and its running like it was new, i put some Tt silver on the gpu, cpu, and northbridge to keep them cool, it appeared sager only used crappy thermal tape on the chip (its a wonder that didnt fry out) (probably should have used artec silver)
