i need a laptop for university next year. Looking to buy in july or august. I need to wordprocess, browse the internet, listen to music (through external 5.1 system), watch movies (not hddvd or bluray but some hd tvshows downloaded) and play games (nhl08, UT, CSS, Farcry/crysis, GTA4, Halo2). The games dont have to be at top quality, just playable. I would really like santa rosa, and at least the ability to upgrade to 4gigs ram.

the contenders so far:
Asus G1s (good price, good video card, a bit bulky)
Alienware m5550 (expensive, great video card, great build quality, no santa rosa)
Sony FZ (decent price, great build quality, great battery life, looks good, bad video card)

im looking at spending about $2500 USD, but because i live in canada, im hoping to buy from someone that ships to canada.

Any suggestions are helpful. Is there anything coming out soon that i dont know about? any advice?
