I'd give it a little while before the quircks in the chipsets for the AMD64 cpus are worked out. I recently got the Mitac AMD64 laptop and after all 3 replacements gave random BSODs, I decided to give the piece of junk back. I tried everything from updating all of the drivers, different memory, different cpu speeds... nothin... the laptop used the VIA chipset BTW. As much as I'm a fan of AMD, Intel (for the most part) and the the chipsets for them, seem to be fairly rock solid. But again it really depends on the ODMs motherboard designs.
