This is GREAT. i just had a problem w/ installing winXP on my 8790. The RAID controller settings are the only thing I didn't think of...hopefully, turning it off will work...wish me luck...

Got my 8790 last night. Is there a monitor program like MobMeter that displays temps in Ferhenheit? It's a dumb question, but I'm lazy and don't feel like thinking when it comes to converting C to F.

BTW: Make this an addendum:
After turning off the BIOS setting for the USB before installing an OS, place a reminder around Step 4 to turn the damned setting back on. I made a noob post in the 8790 sager support area.

Good one, Boogie. Quite understandable, though- you just got your new machine. We all know what it's like to lose a few brain cells when operating in that mode
